Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit simultaneous closing of rotating control valves so as to reduce a flowing noise of a pressure oil, by chamfering a plurality of lands on a spool valve composing the rotating control valves of the titled apparatus into the same shape. CONSTITUTION:The lands 5, 6 and oil grooves 7, 8 for controlling the flow rate of a pressure oil flowing into and out of a hydrualic cylinder are axially formed in the inner circumferential surface of a valve body 1 and on the outer circumferential surface of the spool valve composing the rotating control valve. The lands 5 equi-spaced and formed on the spool valve 2 are chamfered in the same way to form orifices 20 with a chamfer angle alpha and a chamfer length l. By the relative rotation of the spool valve 2 and the valve body 1, all the oil paths that will be defined by the spool valve 2 and the valve body 1 can be closed simultaneously.
