Abstract

PURPOSE:To mass-produce a shaft having a stable pivotally sustaining property, by using the molds which can be split into two parts in a direction crossing nearly at right angles to a longitudinal direction of the shaft. CONSTITUTION:The concave parts 10a, 11a for molding are provided at the molds 10, 11 which are divided into two parts in a direction crossing nearly at right angles to a longitudinal direction of a shaft 8. The molds 10, 11 are closed, a resin is poured and the shaft 8 is molded. At this time, even though clamping of the molds 10, 11 is insufficient and protrusions 13 generate at the faces 8a, 8b of the shaft 8, a relation of B'<=A' is satisfied between a diameter B' of the shaft containing protrusions 13 and a diameter A' corresponding to an outer peripheral face of the shaft 8, then the protrusion 13 does not contact with the inner peripheral face of a bearing 9.
