Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the device issue sound an alarm in the most preferable period and thereby to give comfortable waking, by deciding the level of nervous activities from the frequency of the movement of eyeballs, by taking an information on the transition of the depth of sleep out of the change with time of the activities, and by linking the information to an alarm clock. CONSTITUTION:A period of detection for waking time biofeedback and a period of detection for waking are set in a setting mechanism 3 by operating an operating member 2. When it comes to the waking time, a sensor 4 and a decision circuit 5 start to operate, the depth of sleep is measured thereby, a sounding mechanism 6 is started to motion at a time when he maximum value of the level of brain activities appears within the period, and thereby an alarming sound for waking is delivered. When the level of the brain activities does not show the maximum value, the alarming sound is delivered at the end of a set period. Instead that sounding is made through the detection of the maximum value of the level of the drain activities, the value may be detected for sounding when the level of the brain activities exceeds a prescribed level set beforehead.
