CONSTITUTION:In a thermal transfer printed using laser lights, laser light RL from a laser light source 10 is emitted to a reflecting plate 6 having many reflecting holograms 5 recording character patterns in dot format, and a character is thermally transferred to a recording sheet 12 with the reflected light. The holograms 5 in the plate 6 are selected by the rotary drive with a drive unit 7 and the rotary drive of a mirror 9 by the drive unit 16. A tape 13 supporting a thermally fusible material is intimately contacted on the sheet 12 via a pressing plate 14 such as glass plate or the like.
