Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to perform a test in a high temperature and high-pressure atmosphere, by a method wherein a sample, which has one end grasped by a securing rod and the other end equipped with a loading rod, a heating means for a sample, and a displacement gauge for measuring the elongation of the sample are placed in a pressure container pressurized to a given pressure. CONSTITUTION:A pressure container 1 consists of a container body 1a and a cover 1b, and is airtightly held through a seal 2a. A securing frame 4, consisting of a securing rod 4b for grasping one end of a sample 3 by means of a chuck 4a, a load support plate 4c for fastening the securing rod 4d, and a load support plate 4d for holding the support plate 4c is secured to the cover 1b. The other end of the sample 3 is held by a loading rod 5 grasped by the chuck 5a, the loading rod 5 pierces a perforation 1c in the cover 1b and a seal cover 6, protrudes to the outside of the container 1, and is connected to a loading means. A heater 8 is installed to an inner periphery of a heat insulating material 7 of the body 1a. The elongation of the sample 3 is transferred to a displacement gauge 12 from an elongation detecting arm 10a where a displacement distance can be measured. The sample is heated through the medium of a metal cylinder, and an inactive material inner cylinder can be further placed between them.
