Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce easily the titled device used in an engine supporter, etc., by constructing a metal member as a stopper for a diaphragm by molding and vulcanizing integrally with a chamber wall having a diaphragm partitioning fluid chambers. CONSTITUTION:The first fluid chamber A is formed by a bowl-like chamber wall of an elastomeric material that has a cylindrical thick side wall section 2 and a disc-like thin bottom wall section 3. A metal plate 10 and a partition plate 9 are secured to an upper opening of the side wall section 2 by bolts 11 and nuts 12. The partition plate 9 is formed by a container-like metal plate having a trapezoid in cross section, and the lower part of the bottom thereof has a rubber member 13 joined thereto, and a choke aperture 14 in its center. The circumferential wall section of a thin elastomeric body 15 is joined to the inner surface of the circumference of the partition plate 9, and the second fluid chamber B is defined between the elastomeric body 15 and the partition plate 9. The first and second fluid chambers A, B are in communication with each other through the choke aperture 14, and a liquid is enclosed in the chambers A, B to form the vibration insulator.
