Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve an excellent test by decreasing the man-hours of testing and shortening a test time by excluding an error when integrated circuits in receivers to be tested are different by setting an input signal frequency by utilizing the output of a local oscillator of equipment to be tested. CONSTITUTION:To the inut terminal 4 of an integrated circuit 3 for a radio receiver to be tested, the output terminal 2 of a high-frequency test signal generator 1 is connected and the mixing circuit 10 of the circuit 3 mixes an oscillation signal from the modulating circuit 8 of the generator 1 and a signal from the local oscillating circuit 11 together to supply an IF signal to an IF amplifying circuit 12, thereby testing characteristics of the radio receiver. This generator 1 is provided with a mixing circuit 15 which mixes a reference signal from a reference signal oscillating circuit 16 connected to a quartz oscillator and a signal led out of the oscillating circuit 11 of th integrated circuir 3 by a tuning circuit 13, and the mixture output of this circuit 15 is applied to the modulating circuit 8. Then, the output frequency of the oscillating circuit 11 is utilized to exclude errors due to a difference of the integrated circuit 3, thereby decreasing the man-hours of testing and shortening a test time.
