Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure that a material to be incinerated which has been crushed to a predermined particulate form and is viscous can be supplied into an incinerator in an amount, when incinerating city wastes, industrial wastes or the like. CONSTITUTION:A discharge port 3 of a funnel-shaped hopper 1 is provided with a gate 4 for regulating the aperture diameter or the port 3, and a stagnating part 5 for the material to be incinerated is provided adjacently thereto. At the bottom part of the stagnating part 5, an apron conveyor 8 is provided to be inclined at an angle of drepose of 60 or larger, and a feeding-out end part 12 of the conveyor 8 is located above a feeding-in end 7 of a screw conveyor 6 leading to the incinerator. The conveyor 8 is provided with scraping plates 9 which are erected at predetermined intervals to provide open-top measuring devices 10 between the plates 9. When conveying the material by the conveyor 8, the material to be conveyed flowing over the device 10 is scraped off by a pinch roll 16 to supply a fixed amount of the material into the incinerator.
