Abstract
PURPOSE:To horizontally stirring magnetic toner and obtaine developed image of good quality free from deterioration and unevenness by engraving a groove declined to the shaft of a developing sleeve on a repulsion field generating magnet. CONSTITUTION:If a groove 8 inclined to a developing sleeve shaft is engraved on a repulsion field generating magnet 9, a magnetic toner to be fed in the arrow direction is separated at the part of the groove 8 in the dot-line direction by the vector synthesis shown in the drawing and absorbed at a position differ ..rom the preceeding one on the developing sleeve. By using such a grooved magnet 9, the magnetic toner can be horizontally stirred and developed image of good quality can be obtained without the generation of image deterioration, ghost and unevenness.
