Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the wiring of a centralized control system by performing connection between an electric source and an earth, and optical coupling of optical fibers between data transmission and reception. CONSTITUTION:A plug consists of a metallic leading part 33 and a metallic body part 35, which are unified through an insulator 38. The leading part 33 is used as an optical coupler for optical fibers and an electric power terminal and the body part 35 is used as an earth terminal. A cable 37 incorporates a transmitting optical fiber 31, a receiving optical fiber 32, an electric power line 34, and an earth line 36. The transmitting and receiving optical fibers 31, 32 are penetrated into the leading part 33 and expanded up to the end part of the leading part, the electric power line 34 is welded with the leading part 33 and the earth line 36 is welded with the conductive covering of the body part 35.
