PURPOSE:To obtain steady lighting for a fixed time without reference to the change of voltage caused by the lowering of speed by connecting a luminous device in which a luminous element and a condenser are connected in parallel with a generating device via a diode for a lighting device of a bicycle or the like. CONSTITUTION:During the high-speed running of a bicycle, the AC voltage generated by a generator 1 is given half-wave rectification by a diode 2, smoothed by a condenser 3, and supplied to a lamp 4 for lighting. Meanwhile, when the bicycle is suddenly stopped, the AC voltage from the generator 1 is reduced to zero. But, the electric charge in the condenser 3 is supplied to the lamp 4, and discharging is started to light the lamp 4 for a fixed time. At this stage, the diode 2 is intercepted as it is given an inverse bias by the discharge of the condenser 3, and the discharge current of the condenser 3 is all supplied to the lamp 4 and cannot be conducted to the coil of the generator 1 to be consumed.
