Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the frequency characteristics constant, by providing a frequency characteristic correcting signal generating circuit at the reception side of a video signal and controlling this circuit so that the level of a color burst signal to be constant. CONSTITUTION:A composite color video signal is applied to a terminal 1. This signal is introduced to an output terminal 16 through an amplitude modulator 2, a coaxial cable 5, an AGC circuit 12, a demodulation circuit 13, and an amplifier 15. On the other hand, a signal of the circuit 13 is applied to a frequency characterisitc correction signal generating circuit 21, and the circuit 21 supplies a signal correcting the frequency characteristics into a flat characteristic to an addition circuit 14 in accordance with the frequency characteristics when the length of the cable 5 is a prescribed length. The output of the amplifier 15 is applied to a burst gate circuit 21, a color burst signal is obtained and this signal is applied to a frequency characteristic correcting signal generating circuit 20 to change the amount of correction.
