Abstract

PURPOSE:To always maintain a constant cleaning effect, by selecting and collecting worn balls and injecting new balls as many as the amount of balls collected, in an equipment to clean condenser tubes of heat exchanger by elastic balls. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning balls used to clean condenser tubes of condenser 2 are caught by a ball catcher 8 and collected into a ball collector 3 through a circulating pump 10, after they are thrown into the condenser 2 through a ball injecting nozzle 7, and clean the inside of condenser tubes. On this occasion, the balls worn and lost their cleaning effects are stored in the bottom part of ball collector 3 passing through a strainer 11 made of porous plate, and collected by a ball separator 13 through a recirculating pump 12. The number of worn balls which passes through the recirculating pump 12 are counted by a detector 14, and the number of balls counted only are supplied from a ball soring tank 17, in response to the signal from a processor 15.
