Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the air flow adjusting smooth and easy, and to increase the air flow receiving efficiency, by constituting an upper wall or a horizontal disk of an air flow receiving cylinder such that the upper wall or the disk can be moved in parallel with the longitudinal axis of a duct, and facing an air flow receiving port at right angles with the air flow.
CONSTITUTION: The upper wall 14 or the horizontal disk 18 of the air flow receiving cylinder 8 is fixed to an adjusting shaft 17, and is vertically movable in the duct, and the air flow receiving port 11 formed in an upper side wall of air flow receiving cylinder 8 faces directly against the direction of the air flowing in the duct, and the hight of the port 11 can be vertically adjusted. Thus, the displacement of the upper wall 14 or the horizontal disk 18 of the air flow receiving cylinder 8 can change proportionally therewith the air flow to be received, so that during the air conditioning the air flow adjustment can be smoothly and readily carried out. Further, since the air taken into the air flow receiving cylinder 8 would not escape from the side of it, the air flow receiving efficiency can be increased.
