Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the supply and discharge time of a material to be worked by mounting a pair of chucking stations corresponding to a pair of parallel conveyors to a carrier loader moved among the conveyors and an assembly center. CONSTITUTION:The carrier 1 on which the material to be worked carried in by means of the conveyor 9 is loaded is lifted by the chucking station 35 of the carrier loader 34, and moved to the supply position of the assembly center. Here, the carrier 1, assembly work thereof is completed, is lifted by the chucking station 36, and the shift table 32 of the assembly center is moved under a chucking center 37 and receives the carrier 1 before work. The carrier loader 34 is moved to the conveyor side again, discharges the carrier after work to the conveyor 10 and receives the carrier before work from the conveyor 9.
