Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the distributed capacity while improving the dielectric strength between lines by a coil winding method wherein a bobbin used in the coil winding has a plurality of collars of a height which is n times (n being an integer coinciding with the number of layers) as large as the wire diameter and wherein the winding is conducted by operating a winding machine at a speed which is 1/n of the speed of rotation of coil. CONSTITUTION:A coil is formed by winding a wire 3 around a bobbin 1 having a multiplicity of collars 2, 2' and 2''. With such a bobbin, since the winding width is small, it is possible to automatically wind the coil by reciprocatignly moving a rotor winding head even if the position P of the winding head does not accurately correspond to the position of the wire. If it is desired to form a coil having n layers with a conventional coil winding machine, the height of the collar of the coil bobbin is selected to be about n times as large as the wire diameter and the winding is conducted at an axial feed speed which is about 1/n of the wire diameter per rotation of the coil. According to this method, it is possible to easily obtain a high-frequency coil having extremely small distributed capacity or a high-voltage coil having a high dielectric strength between lines.
