NEW MATERIAL:The urea derivative of formulaI[R1 is lower alkyl, or aryl- (lower alkyl) which may have lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or halogen as a substituent group on the benzene ring; R2 is 3-thienyl which may have halogen atom as substituent group; n is 1W3].
EXAMPLE: N-(5-Fluoro-3-thienyl)-N'-(1-methyl-2-pyrrolidinylidene)urea.
USE: An antianxiety agent having transquilizing activity and effective for the remedy of emotional disorder such as uneasiness, tension, depression, etc., and the symptoms of neurosis.
PROCESS: The compound of formulaIcan be prepared by reacting the lactamimide derivative of formula II with the isocyanate derivative of formula III in a solvent such as benzene, toluene, etc., at 20W150°C, preferably at the boiling point of the solvent.
