Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:N-(3-Thiazolyl)-N'-cyclohexylurea of formulaIand N-(2-thiazolin-2-yl)-N'-cyclohexylurea of formula II.
USE: A lipometabolism improving agent. It increases the high density lipoproteins and decreases the low density lipoproteins.
PROCESS: The compound of formulaIor formula II is prepared by condensing cyclohexyl isocyanate with 2-aminothiazole or 2-aminothiazoline in the presence of a base (e.g. triethylamine).
