Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the high speed of the multiple point, multiple color recording operation, to obtain the long life of a head, and to simplify the constitution, by memorizing an input signal and the position of the recording head in digital values, and controlling the position of the head based on the memorized values. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of analog input signals are sequentially selected in a switching mechanism 2, digitalized by a converter 4, and stored in a memory 5. Recording paper 6 is fed by a feeding mechanism 7, and dot recording is performed by a head 9. Raster scanning of the head 9 is performed by a scanning mechanism 11. The digital signal related to the head 9 is stored in a memory 13. A computation control circuit 14 reads the all data in the memory 5 and the data in the memory 13. The data which is the minimum difference between the data from the memory 5 and the data from the memory 13 is detected out of the data from the memory 5. The head 9 is moved along the scanning direction by a specified amount in response to the difference. When the difference becomes zero, the dot recording is performed by the head 9, and each component element is controlled by the program in an ROM15.
