Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to constitute the heat exchanger simply and efficiently by a method wherein a plurality of opposing side wall sections are formed by folding a thin plate in zigzag and a fluid is flowed between the neighboring side wall sections into opposing directions alternately. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of opposing side wall sections 4, 8 are formed by folding the thin plate 1, having heat transmitting and moisture permeable properties, in zigzag while gaps 14, opening in the opposing directions alternately, are provided between the neighboring side wall sections 4, 8. The upper and lower ends thereof are closed properly and a first air stream A is supplied to the upper part, then, it flows into the gaps 14 and, thereafter, is discharged to the outside thereof from the lower part as shown by a sign B. Simultaneously, when a second air stream C is supplied from the lower part thereof, it flows into the different gaps 14 neighboring the gaps 14 for the first air stream and, thereafter, is flowed out to the outside from the upper part thereof. According to this method, exchanging of temperatures and moistures may be effected in a high efficiency.
