Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify construction of coupling part by providing a liquid passage in the fastening member, which is to couple and fix the gear housing with the cylinder, and by connecting this liquid passage with a piping which is in communication to the power steering valve built in the gear housing. CONSTITUTION:The fit part of a cylinder for power steering 4, with the gear housing 1 is sealed by an O-ring 19 and provided with a screw hole 28, in which a fastening member 24 to fasten the cylinder 4 to the housing 1 shall be screwed in. This fatening member 24 is formed with a connector bolt 25, eye joint 26 and gasket 27, where the hole 26b of the eye joint 26 is in communication with the hole 25c of the bolt 25. The hole 26b of the eye joint is connected with the pipe 29 in communication to the power steering valve, and the working oil is sent in liquid pressure chamber 14a through the holes 26b, 25c.
