Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the removal of the jammed copy paper, by dividing a carrying part of the copy paper into two units and loading each unit toward the outside of a copying machine and in parallel to the carrying direction of the copying paper in a removable way. CONSTITUTION:A unit A is formed by a construction including a paper feed cassette 15, a roller 16, a register roller 17, a paper feed guide 18, transcribing/separating corotrons 10 and 11, a conveyor belt 20, etc. A unit B is formed by a fixing part including a fixing device 21 and a paper discharge roller 26. These units A and B are loaded slidably on the guide rails (not shown in the figure) respectively and can be shifted toward an arrow mark in the figure. In case the jamming arises before th jammed copy paper 14 reaches the fixing part, the unit A is drawn outside. While the unit B is drawn out in the same way when the jamming arises at the fixing part.
