Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform the peeling of the paper without injuring the tip of a thin paper, by adding a peeling pawl which turns backward to a photosensitive drum at the place near the drum and giving contact between the peeling pawl and the photosensitive drum at different speeds when the paper is peeled to reduce the wear and injury of the drum caused by the peeling pawl. CONSTITUTION:A peeling roll 2 which turns backward to a photosensitive drum 1 is set in parallel to the drum 1 and at a place near the drum 1. A peeling pawl 3 having a tongue shape and extending to the rear side of the revolving direction of the roll 2 is provided to the roller 2. This pawl 3 has a length long enough to reach the drum 1 periodically at the tip when the roll 2 turns. The revolving speed of the roll 2 is rather low compared with the speed of the drum 1 at a moment when the pawl 3 touches the drum 1 and then increased when the paper detaches from the drum. Thus the pawl 3 hooks the tip of the paper sent by the revolution of the drum 1 to peel the paper out of the drum.
