Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a recording device which can prevent the occurrence of the variance of the recording concentration which is caused by the revolution of a magnetic roll and perform the recording at a high speed, by providing a means that applies the control voltage to a back electrode in accordance with the revolving position of the magnetic roll. CONSTITUTION:The recording voltage pulse (b) obtained by amplifying the image signal (a) through an amplifier 9 is applied to a recording electrode 8. A back electrode 16 is set at the lower side of the electrode 8 and opposite to the lower edge part of the electrode 8. A recording medium 17 is transported toward an arrow D and between the electrode 8 and the electrode 16. A revolving position display plate 11 is attached to a rotary shaft 10 of the roll 2, and the grooves 12 of an equal number to the magnetic poles on the outer circumference surface of the roll 2 are provided to the plate 11 and in accordance with these magnetic poles.
