Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable compacting of a device and simultaneously to improve an underground inserting speed, by a method wherein a flow path for air jet and water jet is formed through utilization of an outer tube of a double-structured rotary shaft of an agitating vane for agitating a ground improving agent and a viscous earth. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 1 of an agitating vane 5 consists of an inner tube 3 and an outer tube 2. In case an improvement is made on a ground, with a motor 10 run, the outer tube 2 and the inner tube 2, which are supported by double swivel coupling parts 13 and 14, are spun, and simultaneously, a pressurized fluid, serving as a jet thrust, is flowed down by pressure into the outer tube 2 through a feed port 18. This inserts the rotary shaft 1 for agitating vane into a ground. If it is inserted to a given depth, the supply of the pressurized liquid is brought to a stop, and a ground improving agent is supplied by air pressure into the inner tube 3 as the rotary shaft 1 is pulled off. This causes the improving agent and earth to be agitated and kneaded through turn of the agitating vane 5 of the outer tube 2 to form the improved ground which is cured in a pillar.
