CONSTITUTION:An operating device for tone arm 10 consists of a gearlike vertically movable plate 26 which is connected to a tone arm 12 via a connecting means 24 and is designed to move the arm 12 vertically and to turn it, a gearlike driving plate 28 disposed specially from said vertically movable gear, and two V-shaped connecting levers 30 disposed between the gear 26 and the gear 28. The means 24 consists of a movable pin 46 which is mounted to the arm 12, turns around the arm 12, and penetrates through the arc hole 14a formed to a chassis 14 in correspondence to the turning range thereof.
