Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable reduction of the weight without losing strength in such a way that the outer surface of the piston body which is mode of hardened synthetic resin containing glass fiber is covered by metal plate. CONSTITUTION:A piston 20 is composed of the piston body 33 made of thermally hardened synthetic resin or the like, and a metal reinforcing tube 26 to cover this outer surface and to reinforce it. Besides, since a sliding cylindrical part 27 made of metal plate is tucked and inserted into the cylinder, it displays resistance to wear against sliding friction, and deformation of the piston body 33 is repressed against liquid pressure which is applied to the right end side of the piston body 33. Further, the reinforcing tube 26 eliminates possibility to have breaking at the small diametral part between the opening end side and its outer end side or a ring-shaped groove 28.
