Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the stability of bearing function by supporting a permanent magnet on the static side in such a manner as to move only axially so that even if a permanent magnet on the rotation side is displaced axially, supporting functions are always shown at a fixed bearing constant. CONSTITUTION:A bearing 12 is rotatably attached to the outer peripheral surface of a second permanent magnet 6 disposed on the static side, and the permanent magnet 6 which is movable axially and immovable radially is hung down from the upper wall of a guide member 11 through a spring 13. When a first permanent magnet 4 on the rotation side is moved in the direction of an arrow Y1 for DELTAY1, the distance between each N-pole of the permanent magnets 4, 6 is shortened to increase a spring force K1, and on the countrary, a spring force K2 between S-poles decreases. The permanent magnet 6 is pushed up in the direction of Y1 by a difference between the spring force K1 and K2 to be stable at a balanced position. Therefore, the relative position between the permanent magnets 4, 6 is always kept constant, so that the bearing constant is fixed from the assembling time to the operation time.
