Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the titled hardener having excellent workability and suitable for the manufacturing of an optical lens, etc. having excellent optical properties and reliable durability, by compounding a specific alkylenediamine, polyalkylene polyamine, etc. and polyalkylene glycol diamine.
CONSTITUTION: The objective hardener is obtained by mixing (A) 55W95pts.wt. of an alkylenediamine of formulaI(R is 2W10C linear alkylene; X is H or organic substituent group substituted with active hydrogen) or its monoadduct product (e.g. ethylenediamine, etc.), a polyalkylene polyamine of formula II (n is 1W4; m is 1W5) and its monoadduct product (e.g. diethylenetriamine) and/or a dialkylaminoalkylamine of formula III (n is 1W3; m is 2W5) (e.g. dimethylaminopropylamine) with (B) 45W5pts.wt. of a polyalkylene glycol diamine of formula IV (n is 1W10; X is H or CH3)[e.g. ethylene glycol-di-(3-aminopropyl)ether].
