Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the vibration resistance and at the same time to reduce the production cost for the titled connector housing, by forming the connector housing with a pair of members, attaching a plug to one of the paired members and then putting the other member on the first member to stick them together. CONSTITUTION:A connector housing 1 consists of a pair of members 2 having the same form. An operation plate 3 is provided to the member 2, and an end of the plate 3 is pressed inward. Thus the other end of the plate 3 is expanded outward. A projected bar 4 is formed to the other end and fitted to a connector housing to be paired with the housing 1. Two screens 5 are provided to the inside the members 2 and have paired holes 7 into which terminal plugs 6 of optical fibers are set. The flange 8 of the plug 6 is set to one of the screens 5; while an end of an elastic material 9 put into the plug 6 is attached to the other screen 5. Thereafter, the members 2 are stacked on each other, and the butted faces are stuck to each other with the high frequency melt-sticking process, etc.
