Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable using of a device without being restricted by the shape of an object to be measured, by a method wherein a current detecting element is formed by winding a conductor around the outer periphery of a bendable supporter being long in the direction of an axial line. CONSTITUTION:A conductor 8 is inserted into a supporter 5, consisting of a barform elastic substance being long in the direction of an axial line, from one end 6 to other end 7, and is wound back as it is wound around the peripheral surface of the supporter 5 from the other end 7 to the one end 6 to form a current detecting element 1. A monitor device 11 is connected to output ends 9 and 10 thereof via a terminating resistance 2 and an integration circuit 3 to produce a high-current pulse measuring device. Thus, when the current detecting element is used in a way to wind it around an outer periphery of an object 20 to be measured, having a square section, it can be positioned so that it is firmly adhered to the outer periphery thereof, and this improves an S/N without being restricted by the shape of the object to be measured and increases an observing precision.
