Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency in the inspection of compression resistance by providing receiving members which support the hose with couplings so that it is not moved in the axial direction, first and second cylinders which face each other with the receiving members being held in-between, and a pressurizing device which is connected to first and second cylinder chambers. CONSTITUTION:A compression resistance inspecting device for the hose with a coupling comprises a pair of receiving members 2 and 2 which support the hose with the couplings so that it is not moved in the axial direction via the couplings 1a and 1a, the first and second cylinders 3 and 4 which face each other with the receiving members being held in-between, and the pressurizing device 6 which is connected to the first and second cylinder chambers 3a and 4a through one directional control valve 5. When the directional control valve 5 is operated, and pressurized fluid from the pressurizing device 6 is supplied to the cylinder chambers 3a and 4a, the pressurized fluid flows into the hose 1 with the couplings. By keeping this state for a specified period of time, the sensuous inspection for the compression resistance can be efficiently performed.
