Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable obtaining of a reading in a digital value of a radius value, by a method wherein a measuring lever is mounted between two support legs attached to a base plate to compute a radius of an object to be measured based on the movement of the measuring lever. CONSTITUTION:A case 2, in which a digital display window 3 and a digital switch 4 are attached, is secured to a center of a base plate 1, recesses 5, 5 are formed in both sides thereof, and upper ends of support legs, whose end is formed in a file, are slidably fitted in the recesses 5 to secure them by means of set screws 7. A measuring lever 11, being supported by a spring and having a lower half part movably protruding from the under surface of the base plate, is mounted to the case 2, and the support legs 6, 6 are positioned so that a distance from the lever to the support legs 6, 6 is always kept constant. A moving distance measuring part, in which a variable resistor 14 is coupled to an axis of a pinion gearing a rack 12 monolithically united with the measuring lever 11, is mounted to the lever 11, and a length Y is operated and computed by a computer from the moving distance of the measuring lever 11.
