Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure reliable operation of clutches which selectively connect a plural number of input shafts to the crankshaft of an engine by providing a means of prohibiting simultaneous operation of more than one clutch. CONSTITUTION:When hydraulic pressure in a hydraulic line 44 is introduced into a line 39 by actuating the plunger 35b of a valve 35 with hydraulic pressure exerted to a piston 40, the pressure in the line 39 acts on the end of the plunger on the side of the piston 40 through a port 35d so that the plunger 35b is further moved in the same direction. At the same time, pressure in the line 39 is introduced to the end on the side of the spring of the 2nd control valve 36 so as to push the plunger 36b of the valve 36 in the acting direction of the spring 36e. Therefore, such a danger can be prevented as the 2nd clutch 6 is connected by erroneous activation of the 2nd control valve 36 while the 1st clutch 5 is in operation, and vice versa. By such features, the 1st and 2nd control valves 35, 36 can prevent simultaneous activation of both actuators 8, 10.
