Abstract
PURPOSE:To control buoyancy automatically and assuredly in float transport for a capsule in a water pipe by detecting the sink and float of the capsule so as to control an air compressor and a discharge valve of an air tank in the capsule. CONSTITUTION:In case of float-transporting a capsule 1 having accordion cups 2 at both ends thereof in a water pipe 8, the capsule 1 sinks when substance heavier than buoyancy of the capsule is put in the capsule 1, so that expansion switches 6, 6' are brought into contact with the wall of the water pipe to be ON. Whereupon, a compressor 3 mounted in the capsule 1 fills an air tank 4 with compressed air, so that a valve of the air tank is opened to supply compressed air to the interior of the capsule 1. Thus, accordion cups 2 are expanded to increase buoyance of the capsule 1, resulating in floating the capsule 1. On the contrary, when the buoyance of the capsule 1 is so large as to turn on deflation switches 5, 5', the compressor 2 is operated to lower the atmospheric pressure of the capsule 1.
