Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled lightweight solid spreader product, prepared by packaging and sealing a solid carrier adsorbing a spreader, e.g. a liquid, for agricultural chemicals or a solid spreader for the agricultural chemicals in a water-soluble high polymeric film, easily handleable, and capable of saving labor without requiring the measuring operation.
CONSTITUTION: A solid carrier adsorbing a liquid spreader for agricultural chemicals, e.g. a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether with a relatively small number of added ethylene oxide moles, or a pasty spreader for the agricultural chemicals, e.g. a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether with a large number of added ethylene oxide moles, or a solid spreader for the agricultural chemicals is packaged and sealed in a water-soluble high polymeric film, e.g. a film such as polyvinyl alcohol rapidly soluble in water, having a thickness of 5W100μ. The resultant product may be directly used or added to an applying solution prepared by diluting the agricultural chemicals.
EFFECT: The deterioration of physical properties, e.g. moisture absorption or caking, of the spreader can be prevented with easy transportation, storage, etc. without requiring the disposal of empty containers.
