Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent seizure caused from meshing of involute laps, by internally mating the involute laps, providing a suction port to the peripheral part and a delivery port to the internal center and providing a heat transfer means of heat pipe or the like to an end plate. CONSTITUTION:A spirally moving enclosed space, formed by an involute lap 11 of a fixed scroll 12 and involute lap 15 of a rocking scroll 16, is decreased to compress a coolant, and the compressed coolant is delivered by communicating the enclosed space to a delivery port 21 at a rotary angle. Then the rocking scroll 16 is rotated 90 deg. counter clockwise, and the original condition is restored. A scroll compressor 1 is operated such that the coolant flows into an inlet port 18 provided in the peripheral part of the fixed scroll 12, and the rocking scroll 16, eccentrically turned by a rotary shaft 4 driven by a motor 3, spirally moves the coolant to decrease the enclosed space and compress the coolant.
