Abstract
PURPOSE:To diagnose a set condition of fuel injection timing, by substracting a counter, corresponding to a quantity of protrusions, at each electromagnetic pick up signal further subtracting 1 at turning on of a synchronous button. CONSTITUTION:A number of protrusions n=6, corresponding to a number of cylinders in a disc 5 provided in a driving shaft, is set to a counter in a central processing unit 7i, if a synchronous button 7g is pressed, 1 is subtracted from n to renew the n, if not pressed, 1 is subtracted at input of each pulse P1-P6 from an electromagnetic pick up 5g to renew the n, at n=0 a signal is fed to a timing light driver 7b to allow a timing light 7e to successively emit light. In this provision of the synchronous button 7g, reference of the protrusion can be easily found out for change of the driving shaft 3a, and the reference is set by the timing light 7e, then a set condition of injection timing can be diagnosed in the respective engine operational condition.
