Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the constant speed controllability of a sewing machine by full-wave rectifying the AC output voltage of a tachometer generator and applying the voltage in a forward direction to the base of a transistor, thereby shortening the period of generating controlling pulse voltage. CONSTITUTION:The AC output voltage (a) of the AC tachometer generator TG which detects the speed of a motor M is rectified by a full-wave rectifier DB as a rectified voltage (f), and the voltage (f) is applied to the base of a transistor TR3 in the forward direction through a resistor R5, thereby obtaining a pulse voltage (g) at the collector. A monostable multivbrator MM3 is triggered with the fall of the pulse voltage (g) to produce a pulse voltage (h), which is converted via a resistor R7 and a capacitor C1 into a triangular signal (i). A comparator COMP outputs a signal (j) when the triangular signal (i) is lower than a speed command signal VX, producing a signal (j), and an AND circuit AND4 applies the signal (j) to the base of a transistor TR4 when an operation command signal DTS is at high level.
