Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve error detection without lowering an effective transmission speed by equalizing the inspection time when an error is detected by detecting a change of a flag in a frame to the time for the longest telegraphic message transmission of data sent out of a terminal. CONSTITUTION:The flag K of a CH1 consists of two bits and logic ''0'' shows that a data frame is empty; and the 1st bit is set to ''1'' for a use state of the 1st kind and the 2nd bit is set to ''1'' for that of the 2nd kind. When said flag K is set to ''1'' continuously between time t0- time tz owing to a noise, etc., inspection time Tf is nearly equal to time Tm required by one terminal TU to send a telegraphic message of the longest length, and consequently even if the K is set to ''0'' after some terminal TU finishes transmitting a telegraphic message and another terminal TU starts using the same channel before the ''0'' arrives at a channel recovery device (ECR)5, the K is set to ''2'' once without fail and it is detected by the ECR5. Therefore, if the ''0'' or ''2'' is not detected even once during said period Tf, the channel is discriminated as an error and the K is set forcibly to ''0'' at time tz.
