Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect the position indicated by a light pen even if the initial state of the display picture is dark, by making forcibly the screen of a CRT bright when a timer circuit which is triggered by the operation signal of the light pen is operated. CONSTITUTION:A CRT1, a light pen 2, the first address means 12-15 which determine the indication address of the light pen 2, the second address means 21 and 22 which indicate an address of a picture memory 23, and means 17 and 18 which detect the coincidence between contents of these address means are provided. Further, a multiplexer 6 which selects contents of the picture memory 23 and a color signal DAT on a basis of this coincidence signal to apply either of them to the CRT1 and a timer circuit 3 which is triggered by the operation signal of the light pen 2 are provided. Said first address means defines the indication address of the light pen, which is obtained in the preceding display field, as a determined address and make the screen of the CRT bright forcibly to make raster detection possible when a timer circuit 3 is operated.
