Abstract
PURPOSE:To scan a face to be examined in an approximately circular form with the light which is discharged from the other face of a lens through the inside of this lens, by rotating this lens around the axis parallel with an optical axis other than the optical axis of this lens and making a light incident to one face of this lens. CONSTITUTION:Positions distant from a rotation axis N-N by a length D between an optical axis O-O and the rotation axis N-N are set on a rotating convex lens 13a whiel rotating the rotating lens 13a around the rotation axis N-N, and a laser L is made incident to these positions. Beams projected onto a face 10 to be examined are always placed on the extension of the optical axis O-O rotating around the rotation axis N-N, and scanning is completely synchronized with the rotation of the convex lens 13a. If a rotating concave lens 13b is used, a scanning area is larger though the resolution on the face to be examined is degraded, and the resolution is improved by the conjugate arragnement of the concave lens 13b, a fixed convex lens 18, a virtual image position due to the concave lens, and the scan face.
