Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the workability and economy of an expanded sheet, by adhering olefinic resin sheets, which do not contain any oxide or any foaming agent, onto the both surfaces of another olefinic resin sheet mixed with a peroxide, a foamig agent, etc..
CONSTITUTION: An olefinic resin containing a peroxide, a cross-linking assistant and a foaming agent, each being 0.5W5PHR, and optionally a filler, a silane agent and a lubricant is formed into a sheet while preventing the decomposition or reaction of the peroxide or the foaming agent. Other olefinic resin sheets, which do not contain any peroxide or any foaming agent, are adhered onto the both surfaces of the former sheet en bloc. The laminate sheet is heated with a heater to do cross- linking and foaming reactions. Thus, an expanded sheet having an expansion magnification of 1.5W5-fold is obtained. The peroxide may be an organic peroxide such as dicumyl peroxide or the like, while the cross-linking agent may be a polyfunctional monomer such as trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate or the like.
