Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to compensate for the loss in fiber by using a device that detects the pattern of speckles produced in accordance with the state of surface of a diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:When the pressure in a vessel 1 varies with the natural vibration of a diaphragm 2 given beforehand to itself by means of an exciting coil 3, the vibration of the diaphragm varies. In correspondence to the variation of this diaphragm 2, the light introduced by the light fiber 14 on the side of light projection develops a pattern of speckles on the vibration surface of the diaphragm 2 due to interference. This speckle pattern is detected as light signal and at the same time becomes feedback signal that is introduced into an exciting coil. Because the intrinsic signal is controlled by this feedback signal, the output characteristics can have linearity and stability.
