Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a maintenance and repair of the air conditioner at the air suction port thereof by a method wherein a space is formed in the air conditioner buried in the ceiling space just above the suction port and the repairing plane for the component elements of the air conditioner is placed in respect to the front surface of the space. CONSTITUTION:In a ceiling buried type air conditioner provided with an air suction port 18 having a filter 5 at its bottom surface, a space is formed in the air conditioner just above the air suction port 18 and each of the component elements of the air conditioner, i.e. air blower 2, compressor 4 and electrical elements 6 sec. is arranged in such a manner as their repairing planes are all faced at a front side thereof in respect to the space. In operation, the air is passed through the suction port 18 and filtered by the filter 5, then passed through the air blower 2 and cooled by the heat exchanger, and finally blown out from the air blowing port 9. In repairing and maintenance, the filter 5 is removed from within the interior side of the room, and the suction port 18 is used as a working port, thereby each of the elements 2, 4 and 6 etc. is repaired and maintained.
