Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a hearing-aid without losing flexibility of a sound guiding tube, by preventing blocking of sound path due to water drops, through the location of a hydrophilic fiber at the inside of the sound guiding tube. CONSTITUTION:At the inside of a hearing-aid main body 2, an amplifying section and ear-phone are located and an ear hook 3 is fitted to the sound hole of the main body 2 and sound signal is guided in a sound guiding tube 4. At the inside of the tube 4, a hydrophilic fiber 7 such as cotton thread is located and the fiber 7 is provided lengthwise along the inner wall of the tube 4. Another end of the tube 4 is coupled to an ear plug 6 via a coupling member 5. The location of the fiber 7 in the tube 4 prevents water drops from blocking the tube sound path, and without losing the flexibility of the tube 4, the performance of the ear hanging type hearing-aid 1 can be improved.
