PURPOSE:To realize easy multiplexing with a simple circuit, by converting N- channel low-order group signals into M-bit DC balancing codes for multiplexing, in a device multiplexingly transmitting N channel digital signals in frequency synchronism. CONSTITUTION:At a transmission section, 6-channel low-order group signals in frequency synchronism are inputted to a code conversion circuit 2 in parallel and converted into a parallel codes in 8-bit DC balance and transmitted as 8 times speed of high-order group signals at a parallel serial conversion circuit 4. At a reception section, a word synchronizing circuit 7 takes word synchronism and the signals are converted into 8-bit parallel codes 10 at a serial conversion circuit 9 and inverted at a code inverting circuit 11 to decode said signals into 6-channel signals. Thus, slightly wider transmission band is required, but multiplexing can easily be made with a very simple circuit.
