Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a faucet or the like from breakage due to freezing by transmitting volume expansion due to freezing of water filled in a temperature sensitive portion exposed to open air to a valve body through liquid alcohol in a capillary tube communicating to the valve body to open the valve body. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensitive portion 10 made of metal and exposed to open air has the interior divided liquid tight into the upper and lower chamber by a rubber or metal sheet diaphragm 12.
