Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it easily possible to obtain a laminated spring having properties fit with various purposes by press molding a plural number of leaves as one compact connected by a central connector. CONSTITUTION:A press mold consists of an upper mold 1, a lower mold 2 and side punch molds 3 and 4 and heater is installed in each mold. Side punch molds 3 and 4 are provided with walls 3a and 4a and 3b and 4b which correspond to openings excluding the center formed between a first leaf 5a and a second leaf 5b, and a second leaf 5b and a third leaf 5c of a laminated spring 5 of FRP make. A fiber F located at each tension side of each leaf is given pulling power P0, P1, and P2, heated, pressed and hardened and is given appropriate curvature.
