Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the size of the bearing without increasing the stress to be produced in the rib of a spring member, by arranging a damper section constructing member between a cage spring member arranged on the innercircumferential face of the housing and the outercircumferential face of the bearing. CONSTITUTION:A spring member 5 for supporting the bearing 3 resiliently is constructed with a housing 1 side flange 5a, a bearing side flange 56 and a rib 5c provided between said flanges. A damper section constructing member 8 secured to the housing 1 is inserted between the inner circumference of said spring member 5 and the outer circumference at the holding section 3b of the bearing 3. The inner circumferential face 8a of said damper constructing section 8 and the outer circumferential face at the holding section 3b of the bearing 3 are constructing the fluid film damper section 9. With such structure the axial dimension of the bearing can be reduced while since the axial dimension of the rib 5c of the spring member 5 is not required to be shortened, it causes no excessive stress.
